I switched to a contour pillow as that allows me to support my head but not put extra pressure on the collar. My only potential complaint would be the comfort of the padding. It is soft and thin enough not to be warming, but I believe I may make a soft cotton or linen liner for the pad going under the chin, just for the sake of comfort. I also like that they sell replacement padding and have ordered a couple of sets for when the original wears out over time.
