Review: Amazingly effective foot covers - I bought a pair of the foot cover as I was having surgery on both big toes. I love having a daily bath and was not looking forward to a couple of months recovery period where I could only shower with caution. My fears were quickly allayed. The first day I had a brief shower but trying not to get my legs too wet. Everything was fine so the second day I took longer in the shower with the same good protection. Then I tried having a bath and gradually put more water in each day. Now, nearly three weeks in and I can have a long bath in the knowledge that my dressings will remain dry. As a tip I would say put a fair amount of water in before entering the bath to just below the height of the tight band at the top. The foot cover will expand under the pressure of the water so I lift the band out briefly to let some air out, otherwise my feet will be floating to the top. They do feel tight around the shin area but not unbearably so. When I get out of the bath I dry the covers with a towel before taking them off and then hang them up to dry.
