Also after a couple sharpening does it still hold a edge like if it was new?** A: For those too young to remember great grandpa shaving with a straight razor, let me give you a quick education. RAZOR sharp knife means it will not hold an edge. The sharper the edge, the quicker it will dull. That's why great grandpa had a razor strop that he honed his beard cutting steel with every time he used it. A fine razor edge on a fillet knife is important, as is the knowledge that you must hone (not sharpen) the edge regularly to maintain it. **Q: Can a lefty use this knife or is the blade made for right handers?** A: I am also a lefty.
