Review: Tastes awful - Very inconsistent quality. I bought 1st jar and it was ok. Taste was not bad, so I ordered a second jar that I just opened now. This one smelled and tasted so bad, I just threw it away. Nothing even remotely similar to Keshk. It was just a discusting powder with a nasty sour taste.

**Q: HOW TO MAKE THE SOUP WITH MEAT**
A: Hello, here is a recipe that I was able to locate.  Also you can copy and paste the video to see it's process.  Enjoy :)http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CpKfKlOxKuA1 1/2 cup keshek, 3 cups water, ground beef/lamb, 1 potato (diced), 1 medium onion (diced), garlic (to taste - crushed), 1 cup of oil (vegetable I'm assuming, she doesn't specify), salt and a pinch of cumin. heat the oil, add onions until soft (don't brown), then garlic. Add meat and pinch of salt and cumin. When meat is done, add potatoes. Saute a bit, mixing potatoes and meat..etc. cover the pot for 10-15min. On low heat, add kishek to pot, mix in.

**Q: Is this dried powder? I'm looking for that type.**

**Q: Hi I could not see the expiration date on it how long does it last?**
A: As long as the bottle is still sealed and is stored in a cool location - it should last two years. After opening, please place it in the refrigerator to continue to maintain freshness.

I like this powder form of the product much better than the liquid forms. This brand is consistent. I use it for cabbage and lentil soup with kibbee balls. It costs twice as much as the store I used to buy it in charged for it, but since I moved far away from any store that carries it, I don’t really have an option. I do recommend it.
