Either those speakers or the amp could not do the max volume for drum beats. I compared this amp with SMSL A300. SMSL has punchy beat and drive R200 at high volume very well but could not deliver low bass in low volume. Yamaha could deliver base at low volume but could not deliver it at volume above 75. The max is 100. SMSL has sub out yamaha does not. My input source is Bluetooth. Smooth connectivity with both yamaha and SMSL Initially the unit heated up with play at high volume ... there is a log of vent (slits open from top and both the sides). SMSL is very compact and is chip based amp. This one is transistor based amp (looks from the slits) .... Too costly a equipment. Philips Audio SPA9125 2.0CH 130W priced at 22k probably would be much better choice in Indian scenario compared to this costly setup of amp plus speakers.
