The rose gold circle around the middle of the iron is the stand. It’s not top heavy so the hot iron doesn’t fall on the counter. The cord twists really nicely and doesn’t ever get tangled up. When you turn the curling iron on, it will remember the last temperature you had it set at. Cons: None, I really wouldn't change a thing about this curling iron. My hair stays curled all day with this curling iron! But after about 4 months, the auto-rotating feature is not working anymore. It start to rotate and stop right away.
