This is my first experience with drop aways and it was a bit challenging to tune as it does not lock into the cocked position. The installation was easy enough and although the containment housing is plastic covered in rubber the rest seems pretty rugged. My purpose for this purchase was to compare it to the whisker biscuit and blade rests and I have concluded that that there is no real advantages over the whisker biscuit. if you're shooting standard fletched arrows(not helical) and not shooting professionally the Whisker Biscuit is the way to go.
