Lost 5 inches of my hair. *by E***H on July 23, 2018* I would give this lower than one star if I could.This thing is either a REALLY good fake, a defective product which now can't be returned, or the brand has gone downhill. The outer shell gets heated so much while the iron is on that it actually burned my counter and the iron shorted without my knowing it and got stuck on the HIGHEST HEAT SETTING (which I NEVER use). I typically set it to the 15 marker (the highest is 30) and had it on 15 when I was doing my hair. It superheated in the middle of me doing my hair and I didn't realize it until it was too late, so everything from my occipital bone up is varying degrees of burnt to hell. I"m not exaggerating, I just had to cut 5 inches off of certain parts because my hair was utterly ruined.I'm sorry, I really don't do reviews that are this harsh, but HOLY WOW I either have the worst luck ever or this product is rubbish. Sorry y'all... probably not worth the risk.
