I don't think it is suitable for larger plants as it wouldn't hold enough water but for smaller plants like mine its ideal.I did find that I had to be a little bit careful when pouring as the water can overflow the sides of the spout, I just need to pour slower. The handle is ideal for use as a hanging to keep the can out of the way.I am pleased with this watering can and it does what I need it for.
