Pairs very quickly, much faster than my old device. Initially couldn't enable phone call bluetooth profile, but disabled Bluetooth location scanning on my phone and I was then able to tick the box. With a charger plugged into the through socket there is zero chance of using the USB sockets as they are obstructed. Likewise the control joystick becomes inaccessible. Bit of a design flaw, but I'll live with it as the compact size means it fits in my charger socket, which is awkwardly positioned on my car. Biggest issue is that on Bluetooth connect it sends a play signal to your phone, meaning it automatically starts playing music. There's nothing in the instructions to explain how to disable this and it's more than a little annoying. If it wasn't for the fact this is only one of two compact devices with a through port on sale on Amazon (the other is for a left hand drive, meaning display will be up-side-down) I would return this. As it is, I guess I'll have to live with it. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Low volume and the poor plastics used. *by @***H on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 8 March 2018* I purchased this for my wife's car which doesn't have a Bluetooth enabled car stereo system but does have a car radio/CD player.This will work with any car which has a cigarette lighter power output and a car radio system which is working.So you need to power this FM Transmitter by plugging it into your car cigarette lighter power output and then turn your car on safely. You can now pair your Bluetooth device, a phone, smart tablet, etc. Once you have paired the device like you would any other device your almost ready to go.Now tune your car radio to FM to the same as it displays on the FM Transmitter your ready to go. Play your music and it will play through your car speakers.I only found a few issues, one which was annoying. The main issue I found was the volume wasn't as loud even when everything was turned up to the max, that's the phone and the car system.I can't see the coloured plastics switch and surround lasting long, easily scuffed.Everything else worked, LED displays, the USB ports and the hands-free calling.One important feature was you can plug in a USB disk with MP3, WMA, WAV, APEFL files of audio and it will play them, so quite impressed with that.Other than the low volume and the poor plastics used, this is a good product. Also has the bonus of telling you the remaining voltage of the battery.Connect to it via bluetooth and away you go. Looks pretty substantial but it's not as big as you think. I have an ashtray in my van that's pretty narrow, yet this still stuck in fine. A good bonus being you can still plug your sat-nav into it so you don't have to juggle between plugging/unplugging all the time!
