This is the one of the top high quality slicer made in Gifu, Japan. Whole blade = VG-10. High quality stainless steel. Wooden Saya (sheath) is included. Brand new. We are a cutlery sharpening business since 1956 from Tokyo Tsukiji Fish Market. We highly recommend this knife for all uses in the home and professionally.
