My waffle plates only worked once. After that they stuck like glue and had to be thrown away. I contacted Tower and they said they do not have replacement plates. You have to replace the whole unit. Needless to say I wouldn’t recommend this item. **Q: does this Tower grill have a drip tray for catching the excess oil and fat please?** A: No, I only use it for waffles and sealed sandwiches so have never needed a drip tray as these items don't release any oil or fat. **Q: Is it stainless steel or aluminium, it says both in the description? Also can you confirm if they are ceramic plates** A: Hi PTFE coating same as frying pan has 3 year warranty. need to make sure food does not get burned onto coating clean and spray with fine layer of oil after use **Q: Grill chicken?** A: It couldn’t even make waffles properly, one side undercooked.
