Easy install and connection to ZWave hub. ### ⭐ Failed after 5 weeks but what is the alternative? *by M***. on 30 December 2025* This outlet controls the recirculating domestic hot water pump, 1/8hp. Replaced a 500 Series GE outlet that failed after 5 years with the 700 Series 58449. It began misbehaving after 5 weeks (do these things have the 30-day return programmed?) For others suffering with the GE Enbrighten, the problem seemed to be continuous broadcast on the Z-Wave, which blinded all other devices. Turning off the breaker for a bit reset the device, allowing everything to work again. But it failed again after another three weeks. Will replace it with another of the same model – apparently, I’m at the “fool me twice” level. No problems with the Z-Wave light switches, but now realizing I may have selected the wrong ecosystem. The Z-Wave hub is a Honeywell Tuxedo, and integrated with the alarm system. Anyone have a reliable Z-Wave duplex outlet option?
