Slight buckling will occur when using watercolours and inks Our Studio sketchbooks are made with traditional binding methods (folded, cut, glued and sewn) All of Artway branded papers are 100% acid free, we choose to use an oxygenated process rather than a bleaching one to whiten our papers This premium plain paper artist pad is ideal for sketching ideas or presenting work

**Q: Can the cover be painted with acrylic paint?**
A: I’m actually not too sure. It is kind of smooth with some texture, but not sure if it will absorb the paint well.
