The Asus is Wifi 6 and supports 160 Mhz, whilst also having a much more capable processor and way better range. I wouldn't even compare the two. The Netgear was made over 10 years ago, it is terrible as a Wifi router for today. **Q: Are the antennas adjustable (vertical, horizontal, diagonal positioning)?** A: They are normal wifi antennas. They hindge and rotate. **Q: Can qos be set at an application level so the kids online gaming can be throttled so adults can work at home without slow downs on video conferencing?** A: I have the asus Rog GT GX11000, with this one you can go into the QOS and put the order in which one you want to give top spot too. It works. **Q: Does this router have to be the main router (dhcp) in order to work or can i have this as a client with aim repeaters to run a aimesh network?** A: It can be run as a Wifi Access Point with the DHCP disabled. However - there are old tv aerial sockets everywhere! Bought three of these to send the signal throughout the house to networked devices and as a wired backhaul for mesh wifi. There has been no data drops or needs to reset any of the devices. The only downside is there is no way to log into them to change any settings.
