Like many factory acoustics, the wood, the build, set-up, even the electronics can vary from instrument to instrument. desertcart was quick to overnight another one, and it’s a keeper. I’m not a flamenco player, but finger-style blues jazzyroots music. I like the sharp bite on the bottom strings. Crunchy. Guess that is the flamenco thing. Hit 'em hard and it sounds like a fuzz box. (I hate that dull mellow muffle of many nylons.) Easy to play. Neck fits my hand well. I feel like a runner after removing the practice weights. So yes, I would recommend it, but don’t hesitate to return it if it is not perfect or just not for you. Tricky buying an acoustic online, sorta seen but not felt or heard. For me, desertcart's return policy made it possible. Oh, and bonus, the ziricote back, although a laminate, is a stunner. Check the Cordoba website for details, and other GK models, some all solid wood. Try out a GK in a guitar shop, if possible.
