**Q: Is this tunable?**
A: Please note that this Amazon listing is for the Dixon model TB012D.
So YES, it IS tunable.  That's why it has the wider neck portion towards the mouthpiece, so it can be slid back and forth.
It's the Dixon model TB003D that is the non-tunable model.

A: It is plastic, made for Tony Dixon Music. Has good tone and for the price very reasonable.

A: Im not sure exactly what you're asking. This product has a removable head which makes it tunable, not all are made that way. I chose this one for that reason as well as a more mellow sound when compared with a metallic whistle.

**Q: This is a real Tony Dixon low D whistle right?**
A: I believe it is. It's plastic, but I got it to learn on it without investing a ton of money. I've been able to get a surprisingly good tone out of it. I'm a former flute player and the sound is as good as my silver flute in my opinion.
