Lathe came in very good condition! I will work with it tomorrow. Used my engine crane to put it on top of my toolbox that I had my other lathe on. I am hoping this lathe will be better. After replacing it the control board popped and smoked. They are sending a replacement board as of a few days ago, which will take another couple of weeks to get here. I've had this for almost a month and it's still doesn't work. Btw, they say that the spindle is MT4, but it's not. The max diameter of MT4 is supposed to be 1.2310", the minimum diameter of the spindle bore is listed as 32mm (1.260"). I'm not sure what the actual bore size is. Also WIRING ISSUES. *by D***E on May 7, 2026* Good value for the money, but requires disassembly to polish, debur, and grease the gibs, and properly tension the lead screw. Also the thrust bearings are ungreased garbage. I replaced them with new ones. Also I advise that you open the electrical cabinet and ensure that the chassis grounding wire is PROPERLY ATTACHED, because mine was NOT. The grounding wire had a terminal crimp on it, but was just rattling around inside, ready to wreak havoc on whatever circuitry it could touch.
