Wasn't paying attention when we ordered it, and failed to notice that it requires a "stud" to mount to. No problem, just drilled out the plastic ball on the top of our pole and bolted it in place. Easy fix. You'll want to notice that the light shines straight away from the fixture. Since my pole mounts at 45 degrees, I mounted the light to shine straight down on the flag, not in line with the pole, for best illumination. Wouldn't hesitate to reorder when needed. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best Solar Light Yet *by S***S on Reviewed in the United States on November 11, 2018* We have tried several solar lights for our flag pole, none of which held up or provided the light needed for Old Glory. We installed this light in the afternoon straight from the box. That night it glowed beautifully on our Flags as well as the ground surrounding the pole. We love the feature of 3 different settings. Simply put, this light is superior highly recommended to potential buyers. Prior to purchasing, I read a review that stated, " their was no way of knowing what position the off/on switch was in". I suggest, pressing the off/on switch, cover top solar panel and the light will shine if in the on position: if not press the off/on switch again.
