We already had one small bag that would hold a couple of bats, a helmet, and a mitt, but fitting anything else would have busted a zipper. Since two of our girls are on the same team, I needed to find something that would fit two helmets with facemasks, 3-4 gloves, 2-3 bats, a face mask, and small stuff like batting gloves, balls, and hair ties.I didn't want to spend a small fortune not knowing how many more years we'll be hauling softball gear around. This one is working well so far. The small side zip pocket is perfect for all the little things. 3 bats fit easily. 4 gloves plus the facemask fit in the top zippered compartment if arranged nicely and the two helmets with 3-4 balls fit in the large compartment. Since all of their gear is meant for smaller kids, I'm not sure how much adult sized gear would fit comfortably. Considering the selling price I suppose it is still a fair value, but beware that the bag will have a short life span with relatively normal usage. When I was putting my bats into the bat compartment for the first time, a section of zipper backing tore when I just pulled the bag material our straight so the zipper would slide. So I've only used it for a couple of weeks so far, but I am doubtful that it can last for a season. From the Spring through the end of Summer he will play 80-100 games. It matches his team colors, holds 4 bats, separate compartment for cleats, sturdy shoulder strap and a main compartment that can hold his helmet, 2 fielding gloves and room for much more. It also has a side pocket that he will use for batting gloves and other small items. He hasn't put it through the test of the season yet.
