Review: Very flexible for its size - I have to say that I am impressed with how flexible this is for 8 gauge wire. It is a very fine strand making it easy to work with. It is Oxygen Free Copper wire, not Coper Clad Aluminum. So it will do well carrying a lot of current. I like this and will be purchasing more in even larger gauges for a project I will be starting soon. I will say that the insulation seems a little softer/easier to cut than I would like. Not that it is a problem unless it is routed near sharp edges. If I can not prevent that from happening, I will need to route it inside of flexible conduit. But, I am very pleased with this wire, and recommend it if you are in need of similar.
Review: Thick wire for low loss solar extension - I really like how thick this wire is. I wanted it for an extension to my solar system that won't create resistance loss and this seems to do the trick. It could have an additional protective sleeve, but so far that hasn't mattered.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I'm really happy with this 8 gauge wire

This 8 gauge wire, is exactly as shown in the listing. The wire is fine, without being so fine that the strands are randomly breaking off. When I first opened the bag, I was greeted by a strong chemical smell, but after I let the wire air out, it's greatly reduced. I don't expect the smell to be an issue with most people, but it may bother some people who are overly sensitive to smells like this. I'm sure that is due to the chemicals used to make it suitable for marine use, and it feels like it would handle a marine environment well. I got this wire, to power my radio gear. This will probably end up being used on an amplifier I'm working on.
