When the packages were opened, the aroma of the beans was very good and the beans weren’t too moist nor too dry. I never heat my vanilla, it stays in my pantry all cozy and gets a good shake every so often. I made up my half gallon mason jar in the mid afternoon and by that evening the contents of my jar were a nice carmel color. Very nice.
