It is not super loud but it is noticeable. -The matte like finish on the mouse does collect fingerprints or oils from your fingers but it feels good against your fingertips. It does not feel like cheap plastic. -The mouse is pretty small though, I think this is a mouse meant for claw/fingertip grip, not palm grip.
