I HAD TRIED EVERYTHING TO ALLEVIATE THIS PROBLEM SO I DECIDED TO TRY THIS FILTER AND THE RESULT HAS BEEN NOTHING SHORT OF MIRACULOUS. IT TOOK A COUPLE OF WEEKS AND I CLEANED THE FILTER ONCE, BUT NOW THE WATER IS SUPER CLEAR AND MY FISH ARE VERY HAPPY. I HAVE CAT FISH ONLY AND THEY CAN BE MESSY EATERS BUT THIS FILTER DOES A TREMENDOUS JOB. I DO A WATER CHANGE EVERY WEEKEND AND VACUUM THE GRAVEL AND I'M VERY HAPPY WITH THIS PRODUCT.
