**Q: Height of Dutch oven 5 qt?**
A: It's only about 6" high. It's wider than high, works really well.

**Q: Is the interior of the white dutch oven white or black?**
A: I do not have the white one, I have red and it is black on the inside and should season it a bit after cleaning.

**Q: is it dishwasher safe?**
A: Mostly safe for the dishwasher but not so great for the pots and pans! For years I put my Crueset pots and pans in the dishwasher thereby rusting the rims but you do realize that is mostly all that will happen and rust on the cookware will not hurt you. Many view rust as unattractive so that is the main reason buyers are told to not use the dishwasher. Oh one other reason is these pots and pans will take up an enormous portion of space in the DW and may cause poor distribution of detergent and water.

**Q: Can this go in the oven?**
A: Yes!  I use it primarily to cook sourdough bread in the oven.
