They are a perfect combination and as a bonus, the controller comes with cabling for 2 fans, so it can daisy chain at least 2 together. I needed mine to point in a specific direction, in my case, I use to help cool an air pump for my plants. This unit works perfectly and the frame I made for mine makes it even better. It's very adjustable now and real easy to adjust flow. I've been running it on the lowest setting and it seems to be right on. It's nice to know that there's plenty more power if I need it.
