Having recived them I cant honestly say that there is a drop off in quality only time will tell if this is true or not. The material feels just the same as before the fit and size feels the same the only difference is the waistband is wider than beffoer but this in not an issue for me. They are comfortable and cool to wear and more importantly they dont ride up you leg. They may seem expensive but what you get is worth the money especially if they last as long as the previous 12 pairs I bought which are around 10 years old the material is still good and theya are comfortable but the the waistbands are starting to show its age I cant complain about that as I definately got my moneys worth. I dont like my underwear too tight The large size will fit me but i find them a little tight the XL look the same when worn but are just that little bit more comfotable for me than the L and you will have to make that decision for yourself.
