So I counted 50 drops onto a spoon, then poured it into the cap of the bottle. It fit almost exactly. So I would add just under one capful to 1 gallon of water. To properly set up your betta tank (which should be 2.5 gallons or larger, 5 gallons prefered) you'll want to cycle it first - give 'aquarium cycling' a Google to understand how that works! There's no one chemical to add, but it's definitely necessary to setting up a new tank!
