It’s powerful but not to the point of being medicinal but teaters right on the edge. It’s pricey but if you intend to reuse the bottles it becomes a bargain. There is the taste of licorice that lingers in the background but it’s not cloyingly sweet. I am not a big licorice fan but Virgil’s has convinced me that it belongs in rootbeer. It’s hard to taste the nutmeg because there is so much going on. The packaging is excellent and everything arrived in perfect condition.
