I suggest cutting it to fit exactly. I also suggest getting the pool cover roller to quickly roll it up when not using it. Let me just say, it will warm your pool up. We haven’t had to use our pool heater once this season because this will literally turn your pool into a spa. Yes my pool reach 100 degrees I had to take it off and let it cool down. Very nice material, very easy to put on and take off. Helps retain water.
