It turned out I didn't need be inside frame. I'll hold on to that in case I need it in the future. The only reason I took one star off is there are these little plastic buttons that signal the controller when you hit the customizable paddles on the back, their design is somewhat off. They function 100%, but the paddles now feel a little spongy and don't have the tactile click the original version does.
