Only knocked a star off because there was an end piece (bud) missing from one of the stems - but if any of the others fall off they just pop back on. The leaves move up and down the stems so easy to spread them out and get the look you want. Buds are plastic but the leaves are fabric so you would be able to see through them if if placed in direct sunlight, which might add to the fakeness - there are loads in the pack so you could split between a couple of vases if you wanted. Mine are in a not particularly well lit spot, so don’t think you’d notice they’re fake unless you went in for an up close inspection. I liked the fact the greens of the plastic and fabric are different, which adds to the realism for me.
