**Q: What capesitor did tou use**
A: I used two 30000mfd in my welder.  Works great.  Hope this helps you our.

**Q: Does it have mounting bolt slots?**
A: Hello Sarah, it does have 2 mounting holes, they are at the top and bottom of the bridge rectifier.  The mounting holes are inside the heat sink fins, so they cannot be seen from the picture.  The holes are 13/64'' in diameter (according to calipers), so #10 (3/16) bolt would fit.  There is very little room for a washer, although you may be able to fit a small one.

**Q: can i use this in 12v automotive applications?**
A: I used it to convert a wire welder to DC.  But I would think you could.  Have no idea where you would want to use it...

**Q: does this rectifier turn ac to dc voltage**
A: Yes

This rectifier was used on a drum sander that was made using the motor and roller from a treadmill. So far I have gotten very good results using this to recify current from an SCR voltage controller to power the DC motor.
