I'm very impressed and I love this frame, I was able to assemble it by myself as a single not strong person. Some tips for people struggling with assembly from what I learned: You WILL NEED: -An electric drill. Magnetic bits help. -A clamp, if assembling alone. -Pliers, to hold the nuts still while tightening screws The wood screws DO fit in the frame panels but you need to have the frame laid flat on the floor and put all your weight on your drill to drive them in. Don't try it any other way, it's impossible. You will need a clamp to align and hold some pieces together while screwing if you're doing it without help. Another tip, ignore the instructions telling you to add the mattress holder brackets last and do that before you attach the panels to the frame as you'll also need a lot of force to drive in those screws. If it doesn't budge, try folding up a little more of the mattress weight off the seat half. I'm an older woman with only one good arm due to two elbow operations, and I have managed to open and close it okay this way. I did some research and a lot of the reviews about the 8 inch mattress said that it was too thick to fold up easily into a couch, so I went with the 6 inch. If you're looking for the squishy tempurpedic mattress, the 6-inch won't match your needs, but if you like a relatively firm mattress, I would highly recommend this futon. In my honest opinion, the it is one of the most comfortable futons I've ever slept on and I would say that you could easily use this everyday! The only issue I had was the smell, but it wears off in a few days.As for the actual frame, I mostly just leave it in the couch position. For me, it is a little difficult to move between couch and futon position because of the stiffness. But otherwise, the frame does it's job! I think it also matters which futon you use it with. I am pretty happy with the combination that I bought! **Q: Is this a twin frame?** A: Read the description. It says full size frame. **Q: What size phiiips screwdriver do I need as I don't have power tools?** A: It would be a number 2 Phillips head screwdriver. I find it comical that people just say standard size LOL.
