How completely, completely wrong I was. Since purchasing the YAMAON Flame Effect LED bulb, my life has changed drastically. Instead of coming home to the same old yellow-white sheen of my inferior houselamp, I can come home to the uncanny flicker of a simulated hearth, taking me back to fantasies of a simpler life, the primal, when my ancestors came in from the freezing cold to warm their bones by the cave fire. Thank you for putting me back in touch with my roots. Also perfect for pranking your friends or roommates if you want to convince them that the house is on fire! 10/10 would recommend to every man, woman and child. This one is good, not great. Still too much of a digital effect in the flicker. If you have it in something distorted or frosted It will look much more realistic. But in a clear holder it's obvious except from a distance at night. I have one that looks better and 2 that are worse. It seems I don't get sent the same ones pictured in the advertisement many times.
