It turned out to be a correct decision. These mirrors are beautifully made, and they are thick and heavy. Installation calls for measuring for a horizontal hanging bar on the wall above the sink. This was accomplished with a tape measure and a bubble level in a few minutes. I arranged the hanging bracket so that the mirror rests on the vanity backsplash. It is easier to clean the mirror than it is to repaint the wall under the mirror. Painting around mirrors never looks right. That is one of the reasons that I chose this mirror. When it is time to paint, you just lift the mirror off the wall. The whole job was complete, including hanging the mirror, in 30 minutes. Be aware of the fact that there will be a small gap behind the mirror because of the bracket, perhaps 1/4". It doe not sit flush to the wall. This mirror is just the right size for most bathroom vanities, and I am going to buy three more for the other bathrooms in our home.
