I installed one in the top of a custom console I build in a duck boat to route my transducer wires through to give it a clean finished look. These things fit great and really do a good job. They’re very well constructed and have a very clean fit and finish. So I would say they’re extremely versatile as I’m using one on a duck boat console and the other for its intended purpose as a desk wire grommet. As for durability I haven’t had them long enough to really see but they definitely seem like they will hold up just fine for a long time. As long as you have a drill and access to a 1.5” hole saw these are super easy to install and use. I call it a definite win and great value for your dollar.
