If you ordered the 50 gallon, im sure you'll get the 50 gallon. **Q: When is the expiration date?** A: I checked the box it came in and I don't see any expiration date on it. I see 142005 but that could just be the shipping people putting something on the box. I had a bad experience with this salt didn't think salt expired but maybe that is why I had trouble with it. **Q: how is this different than instant ocean purple box?** A: Hi Jimmy Choo, Reef Crystals starts with Instant Ocean as the base salt but we add additional trace elements, calcium, magnesium, strontium, etc. to it for the corals.
