Mostly because of the price. Well I was greatly surprised on how well it works. The four burners are very adjustable for temperature so you can bake / grill at 300 - 700 degrees. The griddle is amazing and we do Sunday morning breakfast on the patio every week. Making pancakes and fried eggs is amazing. Works great.
