Huge. Massive. Sooo many loads of laundry. I’m several well years behind of cleaning out my closet. I wanted a powder laundry detergent that was also unscented. I scored on both fronts with Charlie’s. So far I’ve done whites and colors primarily cotton and wool. I’ve also used Charlie’s when I dye fabrics. Charlie’s works well with Procion fabric dyes! Yay! I’m aware that it seems expensive but it only needs a teaspoon per wash and works so well that I am saving money with it and I don’t get or haven’t so far gotten the ubiquitous rash that I’ve gotten from other laundry detergents I’ve tried. ## Features - ECO-FRIENDLY CLEANING POWER: Concentrated Laundry Powder works on all your laundry, from high-tech fabrics to delicates, washing away smells, stains, and left-behind residue from previous detergents. - HYPOALLERGENIC: Washing soda and powerful, natural ingredients work together to rinse fabrics completely and leave nothing on your clothes. You should have no concerns about these products. **Q: Why there's alcohols in natural product which is toxic, too?** A: "Alcohols C10-14 Ethoxylated" and "Alcohol C12-C16, poly(1-6)" are vegetable based surfactants used in the production of Charlie's Soap. While the name looks long and confusing they are not harmful and when used as recommended will not kill rivers, streams, or the good bacteria at water treatment plants or in septic systems. It will not burn through or destroy stains and fabrics, rather it will gently lift dirt, stains, and odors from fabrics and surfaces. It will rinse away with water and holds onto the water for dear life while also holding onto the dirt, stains, and odors. **Q: My kid has very sensitive skin! i wash her clothes with wash soda, borax, & eo's, but they don't come out very clean. does this soap work?** A: Yes, Charlie's Soap works well by removing the residue left behind on clothes! I would recommend pre-treating tough stains before washing. It is hypoallergenic, free of toxins, dyes, and perfumes. It's perfect for anyone with sensitive skin. Please feel free to contact us if you would like any additional information. Thanks! **Q: Are the ingredients in this product and in the Booster safe for grey water systems? Will they hurt plants?** A: No the Laundry Powder and Booster were specifically formulated to be safe for grey water systems. The Detergent and Booster do not persist after introduction to the soil and will not make it's way into the root systems of your fruit trees or vegetables. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Buena opción *by A***Z on 2 January 2026* Para quienes no queremos usar detergente para lavar ropa, este jabón funciona ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I’m digging out of my laundry pile! *by C***I on 22 August 2026* I’m doing what for anyone is a massive amount of laundry.
