These have worked great when I attach them to a small clipboard. We take kids out on trails and have them play nature bingo or scavenger hunts. It's nice for the kids to attach pencils or markers to the clipboard instead of carrying them. The only thing you should know. They are best for wider implements like small markers or fat pencils.
