Since it was such a beautiful true red I went with the theme and paired it with beautiful rose petal soap, some rosebud lip salve, hand made spa cloths, and a pair of black washable Dearfoam slippers. I wanted something that would be Universal for all the women in my family and this really fit the bill. The color is a true red without being too dark burgundy or too bright Cardinal / orange red. It's a great Christmas red. I also love the sheen that the silk fabric and the fact that it was made with naural cotton and silk fibres. I also did not note any problems with the weave of the fabric as some people noted but I do see how you could easily develop a run if you don't take care of the fabric because of how fine it is. Still, for the price this is a natural, beautiful, and expensive looking scarf. Also, the cotton and silk have the ability to provide warmth or breathe and cool which means that this is a perfect transitional piece for All Seasons.As a side note, many of the women in my family are older and have hot flashes and even though they love the infinity scarf trend and would want to wear it just as much as the younger women they are not often able to wear them because most scarves are so heavy and/or made out of materials that don't breathe. I felt a piece like this would fit the bill and I was right. My grandmother was the one who ended up with my gift and she loved it and even wore it during a hotflash with no problems.
