I found it more than interesting, but then I've spend 30+ years studying the subjects that Bob Frissell lays out in his book, so I started reading as a believer. Frissell goes into the work of Zacharia Stitchin, whose Earth Chronicle books are a very heavy read, and sums them up for the reader.I found the main-thrust of Frissell's work as a Re-birther, to be less than interesting, and his work with Drunvalo strains his credibility, but--the other parts of this book are well worth reading, especially at the price of less than $8 I paid. It's like Cliff Notes for those studying a whole lot of the areas of life we were never taught in school.Here's a sample:Some of answers you'll find in this book pertain to 'What's really going on', 'The true history of our planet', right down to who our creators were, what Atlantis and Lumeria were all about, and the famous 'Lucifer Rebellion' talked about in the Bible. I found these chapters to be fascinating and right on track with what I'd read by Edgar Cayce, Zacharia Stichin, Michael Tsarion, and numerous other authors.Beings from Mars, who decided to put themselves above God(using technology to evolve, until they lost sight of what was right and what was wrong. Sound familiar?), which came down to us in the Bible as an angel who fell because he thought he was as good as God. When this angel fell, he started something called the Lucifer Rebellion, the idea that we can create using only our intellect, instead of using the our emotions which would make our world balanced. Frissell tells out the Martians destroyed their world through their use of technology, ignoring the needs of the planet, and leaving love out of what they created. They became the Greys, a doomed people because they have no emotion, and therefore, no connection to God, the Source, and our Creator.Frissell tells the story of how beings of light went to one of the Atlantean Islands called Undal. They divided the island between intuitive thinkers and logical thinkers. The 1000 masters projected the 10 vortexes of the tree of life onto the island and summoned the Lumerians to Atlantis.Unfortunately, the Lumerians had only developed 8 of the 10 vortexes so 2 remained open. Two extraterrestrials filled the void. One was the Hebrews, whose origins unknown who were like a child who'd failed the grade and had to take the class over. They brought advanced information.The second extraterrestrial group were those from Mars, of the Lucifer Rebellion, whose planet was destroyed. Lucifer was the grandest angel ever made but he thought he was as good as good. He developed without his emotional body, which cut him off from God.Frissell sums it all up nicely in his last chapter which is that 'love is the answer' to all the questions. This is quite a book, one I've read 3 times now, though I have yet to find an interest in Re-birthing. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Incredible Mix of Ideas, Very Little Defense for them *by J***N on Reviewed in the United States on March 29, 2013* I originally read this book in college at the recommendation of some friends. I enjoyed it, but didn't make much of it or think about it for a few years thereafter. However, with the recent rise of shows like Ancient Aliens, and the continually developing evidence for civilizations that existed centuries prior to timeframes currently "accepted," I have been reading many more texts within this field of "pseudoscience" or "New Age" ideas.What stands out to me about Frissell's book is how many ideas are tied together in one coherent whole. Focusing upon UFO's, multi-dimensional existence, chakra, re-birthing, martians, Atlantis and much more, this text weaves a huge mix of unaccepted/controversial/pseudoscience/conspiracy notions into a single unified theory. My biggest complaint of the text is simply the lack of evidence Frissell uses to defend his ideas, relying upon the idea that we, as readers, simply know what he is saying to be true. This is not to say there isn't some scientific evidence scattered about, but for the most part, it is as if Frissell isn't trying to prove to non-believers that he's correct. It's more that he knows what he says is true, and it might be, so he just says it matter of fact without need to say more.Here's the one really interesting part of the text to me: While Frissell doesn't take significant time to defend his ideas, it seems to me that the more work done by scientists, pseudo-scientists, Egyptologists, geologists, etc., the more evidence seems to unveil that what Frissell says MIGHT be 100% correct. For example, more and more evidence abounds about the actual history of our human society being much older than ever imagined, and Frissell claims has been around for hundreds of thousands of years. New theories surface regarding Atlantis on the regular, and Frissell neatly outlines its existence, how it functioned, and why it collapsed. Even multi-dimensional ideas are coming to exist more often as people try to understand consciousness, the soul, and near death experiences. That said, this doesn't prove Frissell correct, but it certainly makes one curious as to what we will know a hundred years from now, and whether Frissell (among many others in his field) were just 100% accurate in their current knowledge.To me, one of the lasting pieces of value in this text were the breathing techniques he outlined in detail. I use the Christ Consciousness breathing often, as a tool for resetting myself and reconnecting with a higher power. I feel that as I utilize Yoga and breathing more often, I will certainly reference these techniques with regularity.All in all, "Nothing in this Book is True..." at its least provides a supremely interesting way of seeing the unexplainable explained neatly and coherently, even if you choose to disregard it all as rubbish. At its most, it provides a detailed explanation of exactly how things are and have always been. Either way, it is very accessible, well-written, and certainly thought-provoking. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Psychotic Brilliance! *by M***S on Reviewed in the United States on November 12, 2013* Sheesh. Where do I begin? It's like I left my body, cruised the Universe with Bob as my tour guide and made it home in time for a steak dinner. How the heck did he write this? He knows everything! If you have any weird questions on life, yoga, the Universe, the Pyramids...whatever... Bob has the answer! Highly recommended. So sit down, shut up and put on your seatbelt, Bob Frissell is about to teach you the Secrets of the Universe! PS: this book found me after I was researching my favorite band of ALL time: TOOL.
