A: I have read several expose's that indicated that fair trade coffee is usually inferior.  Guarantee a price to the farmer and he will cull out his worst part of the crop for that fair trade guaranteed price.  But sell the best part of his crop for a premium price.

**Q: Where do you get the artificial hazelnut flavor from?**
A: The flavor is an organic compound called an "ester" created via a chemical reaction to artificially simulate the natural flavor.   Therefore, it is called an artificial flavor, i.e. a lab-created organic chemical compound.  The esters can closely replicate the original, but residual reagents can make their presence known, sometimes leaving a chemical aftertaste.

**Q: Does this have added sugar with the "natural flavor" added? i don't see nutritional panel anywhere**
A: Only info on the ingredients are Ground Coffee and artificial flavor.  Sorry but there isn't even a "nutritional panel".
