Although they are small and therefore require a little effort to locate and unfold for use, they ARE quite SHARP and seem to retain their cutting edges well!! I have sometimes resorted to using them over full size scissors simply because they have at times done a better job cutting than their full size counterparts!!! And yes, they cut weeds (unless stems are too thick or woody). If your fingers are as thick as mine are, sometimes it's a little difficult keeping an ideal grip on them because their finger holds are small. **Q: TSA approved?** A: I’m not a TSA agent sorry. They don’t approve a nail clipper. I doubt they’d approve anything with a blade. I don’t know if the go by a 2” rule. You can do some serious clothing damage with these. Wait till there’s a finger length limit. **Q: Anyone else get a counterfeit item? Just noticed mine don't say Fiskars like in pic. Disappointed in another counterfeit item on Amazon :(** A: Junk!
