**Q: my switch only doe 802.3af/at is this adaquit to correctly power this ap as im getting connection drop out issue , my devices lose ssid every 20min ?**
A: 802.3af is perfect. What type of Ethernet Cable? Do you have spare Ethernet cable you can test with?

**Q: I'm totally tech challenged, so sorry about that, but how does this work?  Can you use it for traveling or do i need a hot-spot device?**
A: This is an access point, you need to feed an ethernet connection via an ethernet cable in order for it to distribute it. It is not a HotSpot.

**Q: The title says this is an AX-3000, but the description says it is an AX-1800.  Which is it?**
