But I've found it pretty good to clean the upstairs windows and conservatory roof - You will get wet though! **Q: How does the soap injection work** A: The pressure of the water mixes with the soap. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars It works. *by M***D on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 19 July 2017* The brush and attachments came minimally but adequately packaged, rattling around in a loose long cardboard box.The whole thing is well built and sturdy and I cleaned all my windows, window sills, fascias, soffits and guttering on a normal one storey 4 bedroom house.Having practised on the back of the house I found the weight of the pole as it fills with water was ok as you can get under it and hold it at about 80 degrees off the horizontal, but you will get wet as water runs down the pole from the one exit hole in the brush that is central to the brush, as opposed to two exit holes either side of the brush as with professional equipment.Around the front of my house there is a bay window meaning that I had to stand back about 10 feet from the house so the pole was now at a shallower angle of about 60 degrees from the horizontal.With the pole fully extended (to reach the guttering) and full of water, this was very tiring on my arms, to say the least when moving the brush around.If just doing the windows, then this weight issue when fully extended, would be negated somewhat by being able to rest the brush on the window pane and just move it up and down, which wasn't possible when cleaning the guttering.You will get wet as the water comes out of the brush through one exit hole right in the centre so it's going to run down the pole.The pole is long enough and sturdy enough to reach those heights as its length suggests.You won't be starting a window round using this equipment due to the getting wet issue, but it cleaned my window sills and guttering that hadn't been cleaned in several years, which I was impressed by. The angled head attachment was useful for angling the brush to get to the window sills.I didn't use the other padded head attachment with the rubber blade, but it looked like it would be useful for dipping in a bucket and doing the insides of the windows.I'm glad I bought it as a neighbour was quoted £60 by their window cleaner for cleaning all the guttering and fascias so it's almost paid for itself. I doubt it will reach the apex of the roof but other than that it reaches soffits etc no problem. The soap dispenser didn't work above a certain height but to be honest that wasn't a big problem because the brush was more than capable of removing the dirt with a little effort, but be aware this is difficult to control at roof level, you need good coordination and strength and you will feel the burn if like me you aren't the fittest in the world. Good thing though is once you have done it once if you keep on top of it it becomes easier. The pole is much more difficult to control when water is running through it. The back of the house was fine it reach perfectly and I made sure I had the brush on the window ready before turning on. I found it fairly easy to move to the other windows and clean them. The side window never cleaned because of it height was easy. The front of the house has a small lower bay running the length of the house, I therefore could not stand under the window and was forced to stand some distance back and on the garden to reach one window, despite this and with the pole fully extended I still managed to clean all the windows. I wont say it was a perfect first attempt but it was so much better than trying to clean the windows from the inside. I used the HG window cleaner and was very pleased with the overall effect the windows were clean and streak free. I am sure next time will be better.
