This candle smelled nothing like I wished and that is a good thing in this case. I have a lot of different whiskey and bourbon type candles. Most are just a smell with a name. So this candle surprised me and is my new favorite. I frequent my local whiskey distiller quit a bit, even get to help them bottle. This candle smells exactly like a whiskey barrel to me. When I first opened it I wasn't ready for it but wow it is great. Anyways buy this for your man, it smells amazingly like a whiskey barrel.
