I literally googled "best projector for church". I was directed to an article describing the 5 best projectors for churches where the InFocus IN3144 was listed as #1 choice. Without doing due diligence, I hastily purchased the projector and had to spend $2,000 to have it installed due to the installation requiring a professional AV crew with access to a scissor lift.After installation was completed, I was appalled at how dim the projection was. I knew our last projector was 5,000 lumens, and I assumed that this projector that was advertised as being 5,000 lumens would have been at least as bright as the last one. I guess we all know what happens when you assume.If you are wanting a home projector and are on a budget, or you are buying a projector for a church that has worship in the dark (I realize that's becoming popular) this is a great choice for you. However, if you are wanting a projector that works well in a room with the lights on, do not make the same mistake I did.
