As the owner of three dobermans now - two at once, and now an only child - I couldn't help laughing about the stories written in this book. We also had two COMPLETELY different dobermans. One was the very intelligent, girly girl - my first dog Diesel. Diesel was my baby, the love of my life. Smart as a whip. Then we got a blue doberman - her name was Nitro. She was the sweetest girl, but also the clutsy one who would fall for any trick as long food was involved!This book reminded me of our wonderful times we had together. Memories I had forgotten, but am so glad I remembered.Roxy and Ty are a hilarious duo, and I look forward to more books on their journey through life - and food for Ty! Lol.I highly recommend this book to all dog lovers. I hope people with "Doberman prejudice" finally realize they are a wonderful breed, who just want to be loved and bump their owners.Natalie did an outstanding job explaining dobermans. I've owned Dobermans for fifteen years and Ms. Carter's stories struck a definite chord with me. Anyone who has raised a puppy, especially a larger breed, will recognize The Twins.
